Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing automated, manual and CNC equipment, through equipment manuals and vendor support, in a multifaceted manufacturing environment</li>

GSP has openings for a Set Up Operator on 2nd Shift in our Milling Department
 
Job Objective:
Sets-up and operates all types of machines under the direction of the Supervisor, Lead Person and/or Group Leader.
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Sets-up and operates machines in area assigned, performing duties with little or no supervision.</li>
<li>Obtains prints, tools, collets, wheels, gaging and fixtures as required, changes and replaces tools as required to assure parts are produced in accordance with tolerances and specifications as called for on blue print.</li>
<li>Reads and understands work instructions, GD&amp;T and blueprints.</li>
<li>Assures compliance with job specifications by inspecting parts as produced using micrometers, verniers, gages and/or other measuring equipment.</li>
<li>Diagnoses and corrects machining programs. Reports any problems, difficulties immediately to lead/supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintains area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition. Performs basic machine maintenance such as removing chips, adding coolant, etc.</li>
<li>Maintains records or other data as required</li>
<li>Assists in training other operators.</li>
<li>Ability to operate support equipment as necessary for department.</li>
<li>Responsible for production quantity, quality and good machining practices.</li>
<li>Observes all company policies, rules and regulations including attendance, adhering to specified break schedule, good housekeeping, safety and security.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required, assigned or directed.</li>

<li>High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years’ experience.</li>
<li>Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to make major adjustments/offsets including positional moves.</li>
<li>Ability to change and re-sharpen tools as necessary.</li>
<li>Ability to assemble and disassemble production tooling and machinery.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of company-wide manufacturing processes.</li>
<li>Ability to work cooperatively with others and share necessary information.</li>

Service Technician
 
Summary 
The Service Technician completes the necessary skilled tasks required in all operational areas; maintenance (fleet, rental &amp; other), equipment repairs both scheduled and emergent. 
It is incumbent upon the Service Technician to continually build upon their skills to the point where they do not require direct supervision to complete the tasks that they are scheduled to complete. There may be opportunities within Spray Foam for a technician to specialize in a particular skilled trade, however, it is expected they will cross train to continually add value to Spray Foam's capability to service their customers in the timeliest manner possible. It is also expected that all technicians will pitch-in on the tasks that are required at the direction of the Supervisor, to meet customer needs. 
Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Maintain a clean &amp; organized workstation also ensuring repair items are properly labeled 
</li>
<li>
Execute scheduled maintenance, diagnose, and repair equipment based upon demonstrated skill level without supervision 
</li>

Clean parts &amp; equipment independently

Prepare rental equipment for use and check equipment back in upon return per procedures

Maintain good housekeeping of the shop and warehouse areas with attention to the spray booth prior to trainings

Verify all shop materials and supplies are available and ready before starting assignments

Develop the skills necessary to complete tasks successfully without supervision

Complete the tasks scheduled by the Shop supervisor or his assigned lead

Backup freight related tasks - building crates, etc.
