Job Description About the Opportunity

Direct Hire / Full-Time role leading complex builds in a fast-paced metal fabrication and machining environment. You will orchestrate project scope, schedule, budget, and communication so every component ships on-time, within cost, and to exact customer specifications.

A Day in the Life

  • Translate customer requirements into clear project plans, timelines, and resource loads.
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to maintain flow from kickoff through final inspection.
  • Act as the primary client interface—share milestones, manage changes, and provide proactive status updates.
  • Own project financials: build budgets, track actuals, and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Verify fabricated parts meet drawings, standards, and customer acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with QA/QC to resolve nonconformances and prevent recurrence.
  • Identify schedule, cost, and technical risks; implement mitigation plans early.
  • Guide and mentor project team members while enabling cross-functional collaboration.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in metal fabrication with 2+ years leading projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and assembly processes.
  • Fluency in reading CAD models and fabrication blueprints.
  • Experience with ERP platforms and project management software.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles; PMP is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Salary: Up to $100K, based on experience
