Job Description Overview

This is a Direct Hire, full-time opportunity for a hands-on specialist who takes pride in precise metal forming.

A day in the role

At 7:00 AM you review the blueprint and route sheet for the next job, set up the Amada press brake, and run a first-article check with precision gauges. Minor adjustments are made on the fly; anything unusual is flagged promptly to management. Throughout the day, you monitor output using SPC and other quality techniques to confirm that every bend meets dimensional and quality specifications.

What you will do

  • Set up and operate an Amada press brake for production runs.
  • Work directly from blueprints, route sheets, and written instructions.
  • Inspect parts to verify conformance to all dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Maintain machine setups, perform minor adjustments, and escalate atypical issues as needed.
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) and other quality-monitoring methods to ensure consistency.
  • Use a range of precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

What you bring

  • At least 3 years of experience running Amada press brakes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Compensation

$33.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
