Working Conditions / Essential Functions

Position Requirements

<li>5+ years managerial experience in a high-volume baking or other food production facility</li>
<li>Ability or a willingness to learn to operate bakery manufacturing equipment such as deck ovens, proofers, rack ovens, fryers, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume production bakery</li>
<li>Ability to direct and manage a team of bakers through kind and empathetic leadership</li>
</ul>

<li>Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices</li>
<li>Experience building and mentoring high performance teams</li>
<li>Fluency in Spanish and English</li>

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assembly &amp; Integration
<ul>
<li>Independently assemble large capital equipment, including frames, enclosures, subassemblies, and mechanical systems</li>
<li>Install and route electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses per schematics and routing diagrams</li>
<li>Mount and wire electrical components including motors, sensors, actuators, power supplies, VFDs/servo drives, and PLC I/O</li>
<li>Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and lifting aids</li>
</ul>
Documentation &amp; Process Adherence
<ul>
<li>Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of material (BOMs)</li>
<li>Follow work instructions, SOPs, and job travelers with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Identify documentation gaps and escalate issues to engineering or supervision</li>
</ul>
Quality &amp; Safety
<ul>
<li>Build equipment in compliance with ISO quality systems and internal workmanship standards</li>
<li>Follow electrical safety, lockout/tagout, ESD, and general shop safety procedures</li>
<li>Support in-process inspections and final quality checks</li>
