This position is responsible for the basic coordination of activities of employees engaged in DES 
Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Monitor/Audit records, logbook entries and documentation to ensure thorough and accurate completion.</li>
<li>Ensure safety protocols are being followed.</li>
<li>Coordinate activities of multiple shifts to ensure timely and efficient product movement (output).</li>
<li>Responsible for training and certifying new members of the department (maintain dept. training matrix, may not actually do all of the training).</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement in the department to meet department as well as business goals</li>
<li>Assist engineer with keeping department SOP's up to date.</li>
<li>Works with process engineering group to assist in the identification of process issues.</li>
<li>Responsible for machine maintenance: Ensure that (PM) preventative maintenance is performed regularly, contact appropriate people when equipment is not operable.</li>
<li>Assists in planning the overtime staffing of the department to support output requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.</li>
<li>This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. </li>
<li>May be required to cross train in other departments. </li>
<li>Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. </li>
</ul>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Proven leadership abilities, either prior group leader or coordinator experience.</li>
<li>Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and organization skills in a fast paced environment.</li>
<li>Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.</li>
<li>Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.</li>
<li>2+ years of PCB experience. </li>
