About the Role\n
D&amp;D Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our precision machining team in Ipswich, MA. This is a full-time, hands-on machining position where you’ll be setting up and running CNC mills and lathes in a dynamic job shop environment.
\n
Responsibilities\n
<ul>\n
<li>Set up CNC milling and turning machines (Haas, Mazak, Fanuc controls) with proper tooling and fixtures</li>
\n
<li>Interpret blueprints, GD&amp;T, hand sketches, and verbal instructions to machine precision components</li>
\n
<li>Machine parts from steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminum, plastics, and exotic alloys</li>
\n
<li>Ensure quality throughout the process using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, height gages, etc.)</li>
\n
<li>Work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-mix environment</li>
\n</ul>

Qualifications\n
<ul>\n
<li>Minimum 2 years CNC milling experience in a job shop environment</li>
\n
<li>Strong knowledge of CNC setup for both mills and lathes</li>
\n
<li>Ability to read and understand blueprints &amp; GD&amp;T</li>
\n
<li>Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls</li>
\n
<li>Experience with inspection equipment and machining tolerances</li>
\n</ul>
