What You’ll Do
● Prepare work to be accomplished by understanding work instructions, engineering specifications and drawings, parts lists, subassemblies and tools
● Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
● Ability to adhere to a 7am start time.
● Maintain facility wide Quality, Cleanliness and Organization in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
● Assemble components by examining connections for correct fi t; fastening parts and subassemblies.
● Resolve assembly problems; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.
● Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions.
● Routinely work with electronic work instructions, data collection, and quality checks
● Work as part of a small team to accomplish small and large scale projects.
What You’ll Need
● High School Diploma preferred
● 3 or more years mechanical assembly experience preferred
● Familiarity with electronics and mechanical assembly
● Experience with precision assembly including small components (M2 fasteners or smaller)
● Experience with powered hand tools: rivet guns, torque drivers, power drills, dremels
● Adaptable to shifting priorities and directions
● Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
● Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
● Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
● Ability to follow detailed work instructions and document work electronically as it is completed.
● High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
● Must be able to lift 50 pounds
● Successful applicants will be asked so show proof that they can legally work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
● Experience working in an ISO9001 or other regulated environment
● Related vocational training or certifications
● Experience working with Tulip or other electronic MES system
● Familiarity with debugging electronic systems
● Familiarity with robotics
