<li>Participates in the development of SCADA standards. Reviews consultant and in-house staff design for conformance to SCADA standards.</li>
<li>Prepares written and computer-generated reports. Oversees daily work schedules of system maintenance and enhancement.</li>
<li>Manages the creation and maintenance of up-to-date records and documentation on SCADA network, PC, PLC and security installations.</li>
<li>Oversees the management of the SCADA tag databases and the coordination of any necessary changes.</li>
<li>Motivates, assists, and trains staff in the development and troubleshooting of SCADA hardware and software.</li>
<li>Monitors and reports on staff productivity and utilization. Recommends and institutes improvements on same.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field; and</li>
<li>At least seven (7) years of experience in the design, installation, and/or maintenance of Operations Technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) systems; and</li>
<li>At least three (3) years of experience supervising staff or managing projects; and</li>
<li>At least five (5) years of ladder logic and HMI or OT programming experience; or</li>
<li>Any equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>A valid Driver's License or license from an adjacent state is required.</li>
<li>Vendor training or certification in at least one of the following disciplines: HMI Software, PLC Programming Software Cisco is preferred.</li>
<li>A valid Massachusetts Grade II Drinking Water Distribution or Grade II Drinking Water Treatment license or a Grade II Wastewater Collection System certification, or a Grade III Wastewater Treatment Plant license is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain an FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License within six (6) months.</li>
<li>Successful completion of Confined Space training with MWRA certification within six (6) months of employment.</li>
<li>Security certification such as CISSP or GIAC required within twelve (12) months of employment.</li>
<li>Participates in on-call rotation assignments if needed. In the absence of volunteers, may be required to be on-call or report for overtime/comp time in an inverse seniority pool.</li>
<li>This position has been designated as essential in instances where the MWRA Executive Director requires essential personnel to report to work such as inclement weather or other emergencies.</li>

Knowledge and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Experience in the water or wastewater industry preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of cyber security as it relates to OT systems.</li>
<li>Thorough working knowledge of Ethernet, routers, switches, servers, firewalls, personal computers and Windows operating systems.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of EIA RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and other communications signaling standards and protocols.</li>
<li>Ability to test and troubleshoot to the module level using a variety of electronic test equipment as well as computer driven diagnostics.</li>

<li>Knowledge of electrical/electronic wiring practices.</li>

Summary of Responsibility:
As a CNC Tooling Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for being an important support function in the capital equipment sales process by providing technical information required to improve productivity of machine tool users.
