TRUCK DRIVER/LABORERS (2)

The Milford Department of Public Works is seeking two (2) energetic, dependable and conscientious individuals to fill openings at-
- Milford Transfer Station and
- Highways & Streets
Duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining a safe workplace, the operation of construction equipment, snow and ice removal, landscaping/construction, vehicle/ground building maintenance, paving, storm water/drainage and other duties as assigned. Candidate(s) must be able to understand and follow oral and written directives.
For Transfer Station candidate, it would be beneficial to have Weigh Master license.
A successful applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have a NH Class B CDL (REQUIRED) - Class A CDL is preferred, have a High School diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience within the area of winter/summer municipal road maintenance; OR possess any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skill and ability. Pay is competitive and DOE.
