 Sandwich Maker - Flour Brigham - 1 Brigham Circle, Boston, MA Do you like to eat award winning baked goods and sandwiches? Do you like working on a great team in a wonderful environment? If so, we have the opportunity for you! Flour Bakery + Cafe is looking for exceptional sandwich makers for our growing team! This is a great position for experienced line cooks or prep cooks. As a sandwich maker, you'll prepare sandwiches with speed and accuracy, while engaging with guests and delivering excellent hospitality. Day-to-day Performance Expectations:

<li>Follow assembly instructions and recipes accurately and thoroughly to ensure each sandwich is consistently delicious.</li>

Skills for Qualification: 
<ul>
<li>Must have the availability to work at least 3-4 shifts, 20 hours a week, including at least 1 weekend day.</li>
<li>At least 1 year of previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain proper grooming and uniform standards</li>
<li>Applicants must be enthusiastic, hard-working, possess strong guest service skills, and be comfortable working in a professional open-kitchen environment.</li>

We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year for FOH Sandwich Maker position. Unfortunately, we do not offer seasonal or temporary work. Physical Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Be prepared to be on your feet all day. This is a physically active role.</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods, walk, sit, push, pull, reach, and lift &lt; 50 lbs. without assistance</li>
<li>Ability to operate equipment such as ovens, grills, knives and other kitchen equipment and utensils</li>
</ul>
 Work Environment: 
<ul>
<li>Must be able to work in an environment with loud noises, machinery, and at times, tight spaces.</li>
<li>Must be able to work around various aromas and fluctuating temperatures (at times, you could be in a freezer and/or hot kitchens, etc.)</li>
<li>We do our best not to cross-contaminate anything containing gluten. However, there may be gluten in the air at times. We do our best to accommodate any staff allergy requests.</li>

Compensation: This position has an average starting compensation of $20-$24 per hour (base wage of $15 + $5-9 per hour in pooled tips). The starting pay rate for this position is $15, but the total pay range is $15-$19.32.
