We are looking for a Full-Time Rentals Manager to help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers. This position will assist the General Manager in ensuring the success of the Rentals department at our Meredith Property.&nbsp;

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for overseeing operations and success of the Rentals department. The manager will be the point of contact for inter-departmental communications, and report directly to the General Manager.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage employees with a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students.</li>
<li>Manage employee scheduling, staffing, and job assignments to cover operational needs.</li>
<li>Accountable for retail transactions and cash drawers.</li>
<li>Manage rental boat accessories to ensure accurate inventory of water skis, tubes, tow ropes, etc. and verify they are not damaged and in good working order.</li>
<li>Manage internal and inter-departmental communications.</li>
<li>Work with boat registrations, including setting up booking grids and being responsible for 40+ new boat rentals.</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality of customer information.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Service Department regarding rental boat damage.</li>
<li>Work with Sales manager to transition rental boats to the Sales Department at the end of rental season.</li>
<li>Support Sales department with boat show responsibilities, boat registrations, data entry, etc.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3 or more years managing employees with a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students, required.</li>
<li>3 or more years as a Customer Service manager, preferred.</li>
<li>3 years of experience in B2C sales and training sales teams, preferred.</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Superior understanding of scheduling multiple shifts and people for a busy environment.</li>
<li>Complete understanding of Federal, State, and Youth labor laws.</li>
<li>Possesses a high degree of organizational skills.</li>
<li>Ability to create and execute a plan and to react effectively to unexpected situations.</li>
<li>Strong belief in training employees well.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well.</li>
<li>Thrives in a team environment.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills.</li>
<li>Experience with SPEEDYDOCK, preferred.</li>

Required qualifications:
