Job Summary:
The Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach is responsible for various aspects of the basketball program, such as recruiting within the school, training/participating in competitions, and coaching team members. The basketball Coach is required to abide by the MCSAO/ MIAA rules and regulations as well as the rules and regulations set by the Codman Academy District Board and the athletic administration at Codman.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):

<li>Coordinate the development and promotion for the sport.</li>
<li>Develop a regular practice schedule and organize practice time to provide both individual and team development.</li>
<li>Hold a preseason meeting with all student-athletes interested in playing and contact all parents prior to tryouts.</li>
<li>Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while on trips off school property.</li>
<li>Encourage behavior in alignment with Codman’s Habits of Scholarship during all phases of athletic participation.</li>
<li>Take all necessary precautions to protect student athletes, equipment, and facilities, including protecting students from hazing/bullying.</li>
<li>Maintain and secure all equipment and uniforms. </li>
<li>Maintain records to ensure compliance with all pertinent MCSAO/MIAA regulations and ensure that regulations are followed.</li>
<li>Participate in special activities to include senior night, banquets, award nights and pep assemblies.</li>
<li>Follow established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury.</li>
<li>Represent the Codman Academy District and the basketball program in a professional manner.</li>
<li>Maintain non-discriminatory practices in all activities.</li>
<li>Attend coach development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance as determined by Wellness Director</li>

We partner with over 230 private clubs all over the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children. As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child. 
Camp Counselor Qualities
