The on-call caregiver should be a seasoned, experienced caregiver for senior citizens. HHA or CNA certification is desired, but a strong work history with elderly clients would be seriously considered if applicant was non-certified.&nbsp; The on-call caregiver has potential to make a significant amount of money. Full time work, overtime pay and a flat rate on call payment could all be combined in one pay period to make for a large payout.&nbsp; Referral bonus, sign on bonus, mileage pay, merit bonus, holiday pay and more are also available.&nbsp; The main function of the on-call&nbsp;caregiver is to be available outside of regular business hours to the On Call Supervisor in order to fill last minute call outs and urgent client needs.&nbsp; To assist clients in their own homes with activities of daily living, boost their spirits, and significantly improve their quality of life, by delivering quality and safe home health care services. <li>Will accept all assignments given during the time period On Call, regardless of location.&nbsp; This includes some assignments in assisted livings and hospice programs where we are assisting with staffing needs. </li>
<li>Forfeits On Call stipend if refuses to comply with any of the above responsibilities.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Provides necessary information on their own health status and experience.</li>
<li>Reviews client care plans prior to providing care. </li>
<li>Has reliable transportation to see any clients needing service during On Call time period. </li>
<li>Communicates with the agency about problems and concerns.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation accurately and on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Respects and maintains client confidentiality at all times.</li>
<li>Reports concerns of client abuse or neglect.</li>
<li>Refrains from discussing personal problems, concerns, or opinions with client, or client representatives.</li>
<li>Maintain access to an email account to receive client updates, schedule changes, company updates and highlights.</li>
<li>Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training procedures. </li>
<li>Maintain a clean, insured vehicle that has had manufacturer’s recommended scheduled services. </li>
<li>Performs all tasks as noted in HHA, CNA or PCA job description. </li>
