Gunstock Mountain Resort is now accepting applications for Snowmakers to join the Snowmaking team. Our Snowmakers work around the clock (weather-permitting) on the production of machine made snow, with a strong attention to snow quality, trail safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; seasonal and daily preparation and utilization of snow guns; regular visual inspections and repairs to snow guns and hoses as needed; set up and relocate guns and hoses in accordance with resort snowmaking plan. Position is available from mid-October through mid-January. Other opportunities for employment are available after the Snowmaking season is over.
Requirements:

<li>Must be 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Required to move snowmaking and grooming parts, equipment, and materials weighing up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.</li>

Job Description
Gunstock Mountain Resort is now accepting applications for Compressor Operators to join our Snowmaking team. Compressor Operators monitor and control the computerized process control systems for Gunstock's snowmaking operations. Must be able to effectively operate 13 vertical turbine pumps and 2 air compressors, powered by large horsepower electric motors; communicate continuously with snowmakers to ensure maximum snowmaking efficiency. May also assist with the maintenance of pipe and valve systems as needed. Position is scheduled to start around November 1st.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Must have current valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, ability to anticipte and react appropriately to changing weather conditions and production needs.</li>
<li>Basic working knowledge of snowmaking systems required.</li>
<li>Prior experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting preferred.</li>
