A hands-on position with a Seacoast based medical manufacturer executing and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance and repair of operational equipment, manufacturing machinery, tooling and facilities-both building and grounds. This person also oversees contractors/staff that install, inspect, repairs, and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety in accordance policies and procedures. Position supports manufacturing operations daily to ensure uptime and safety. Works in conjunction with Safety Team to promote and execute plant safety. Essential Job Functions/Key Accountabilities:

<li>Lead troubleshooting on equipment and machinery resolving issues in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure a consistent supply of tooling and machinery spare parts are ordered; monitor and control usage of tooling and spare parts and maintain proactive focus to ensure machinery downtime is minimized.</li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring and controlling all maintenance documents and records as part of ISO 9001 and company QMS.</li>
<li>Proactively maintain the facility and grounds with approved suppliers and service providers.</li>
<li>Provides oversight for facility projects and contractors during scheduled work hours and plant shutdowns; available to offer support during off shift hours and holidays.</li>

<li>Maintain a safe work environment and lead role in plant safety; communicate issues and take corrective action when safety issues arise. GENERAL SUMMARY

Equipment Replacement Parts Fabrication:
· Design, fabricate, and machine high-precision replacement parts for equipment and machinery in the facility.
· Utilize manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining tools to produce parts in accordance with technical specifications.
· Ensure replacement parts meet dimensional, tolerance, and quality standards to minimize equipment downtime.
Troubleshooting &amp; Problem Solving:
· Lead the troubleshooting of mechanical failures in molds and equipment, offering quick and effective solutions.
· Collaborate with the maintenance team to conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and failures to improve processes and reduce recurrence.
Equipment Setup &amp; Operation:
· Set up, adjust, and operate machinery such as lathes, mills, and grinders for mold repairs and part production.

Preventive Maintenance:

Development of Manufacturing Repair Area:
· Lead the development and implementation of a new repair area focused on mold repairs and parts fabrication.

· Collaborate with management and engineering teams to identify technology needs and oversee new equipment installation.
· Train and mentor team members on the new technologies and techniques.
Collaboration &amp; Communication:
· Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to understand part and mold requirements.

International Travel for Training:
· Travel internationally for specialized training with master mold technicians on advanced mold repair techniques and troubleshooting skills.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or technical training in machining is required.
· Proven leadership or supervisory experience with machinists or maintenance personnel. 
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, mold repair, and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in using manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining tools.
· Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
· Experience with developing or upgrading manufacturing repair areas, including incorporating new technologies, is preferred.

Position Summary/Objective
The Processing Technician is a hands-on role, supporting areas of cannabis product production, from extraction to finished goods, and ensuring that products are manufactured and packaged on schedule, within quality standards, meeting cost objectives and shipping on-time to the customer.
