As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of our next-generation security imaging and detection systems. This role requires a high degree of technical ownership, hands-on lab work, and cross-functional collaboration. Relocation compensation is not available for this position.

<li>Lead the design, debugging, and integration of highly complex, compact, and robust electronic products.</li>
<li>Work with technologies including x-ray backscatter, ION Mobility Spectroscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence, and other cutting-edge detection methods.</li>
<li>Define, design, and ship new features in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (Software, Mechanical, Test).</li>
<li>Support Manufacturing/Operations with critical component selection, substitution, and supply chain management.</li>
<li>Provide occasional support for field customer issues and system installations, including opportunities to travel</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Electrical Engineering Degree (BS or MS).</li>
<li>5+ years of relevant Senior Electrical Engineering experience.</li>
<li>Expertise in designing compact, high-density electronic boards for industrial environments.</li>
<li>A strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.</li>
<li>Proven ability in highly efficient power electronics design and low noise analog applications.</li>
<li>Experience with AC mains power design/analysis and knowledge of the National Electrical Code standard is desired.</li>
<li>Proficiency in schematic capture (OrCad Capture or similar) and assisting with circuit board layout.</li>
<li>Experience leading technical projects and managing resources.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, documentation, and product development expertise working with software, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams.</li>
<li>Understanding of circuit board design and layout techniques for signal integrity and electro-magnetic compliance (EMC).</li>
<li>Experience integrating and validating peripherals such as USB, Ethernet, 802.11, and Bluetooth.</li>
<li>Knowledge of handheld and wireless device standards.</li>
<li>Enjoys hands-on lab work testing and validating new hardware designs.</li>
</ul>
Bonus Skills: FCC/CE Compliance experience preferred, FPGA design (Verilog preferred) and verification, High voltage design experience preferred (&lt;10kV).

Summary
Responsible for project coordination and scheduling, including communication with clients and Clinchfield staff, development of contractor bid scopes, performance of surveys and contractor oversight, and support of project managers and field staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Manage project staffing and scheduling for projects within your designated territory.
 Communicate with clients, program management, project staff, and subcontractors to convey and coordinate project scopes and schedules.
 Conduct surveys and contractor oversight for industrial hygiene projects.
 Accurately document field activities using provided field forms and electronic surveying application.
 Review field documentation and evaluate findings and recommendations.
 Understand and interpret laboratory reports.
