You'll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload from start to finish-drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, managing discovery, conducting legal research, taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions, preparing for and assisting in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, working closely with clients, experts and fellow attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies, and working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
Candidates should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or sufficient UBE score to be admitted to the jurisdiction, upon hire, and at least one year of civil litigation experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, strong attention to detail, stellar written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests, is crucial.

MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) has an immediate opening for a Trial Graphics &amp; Logistics Analyst to sit in any of our 16 offices. The Trial Graphics &amp; Logistics Analyst will assist the firm’s national trial team with producing trial and deposition presentations, as well as other trial related media and logistical needs.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>Design presentation templates, create/maintain slide decks of commonly used slides and produce new slides for use at trial or in depositions</li>
<li>Assist with editing/formatting various media for use as evidence during trial</li>
<li>Conceptualize, design, and oversee the completion of high-level graphics, illustrations, and animations</li>
<li>Provide trial tech support as the “hot seat operator” during trial</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with trial teams to provide recommendations for case themes</li>
<li>Create, revise, and reformat PowerPoint presentations at an expert level</li>
<li>Lead discussions and coordinate with trial teams and plaintiffs on courtroom setup and requirements</li>
<li>Manage video editing during trial</li>
<li>Create and oversee the production of graphics, animations, videos, and other demonstrative evidence for use in trial</li>
<li>Conduct ongoing research into new hardware and software technologies that can benefit trial teams</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service to all team members during trial</li>
<li>Lead negotiations with third-party vendors regarding costs and timing for various services at trial, including hotel accommodations, conference room arrangements, and printing services</li>
<li>Manage on-site services such as internet connectivity and handle all related invoicing</li>
<li>Assist paralegals with document production</li>
<li>Provide support to attorneys and legal staff with media and document production</li>
<li>Respond to requests for trial technology and coordinate pre-trial and in-trial after hours support collaboration </li>
<li>Provide all levels of technology litigation support based on priority and urgency</li>
<li>Work directly with the trial graphics/logistics team regarding equipment requirements and IT resources (internal and external) to ensure pre-trial testing and trial production processes are available throughout the lifecycle of the trial. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Provide comprehensive pre-trial and onsite litigation technology support for all trial graphic/logistics including: resource oversight and coordination with MG+M litigation teams and vendors as deemed appropriate</li>
<li>Participate in internal team meetings regarding the litigation lifecycle (identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, production, and presentation of ESI and paper documents)</li>
<li>Responsible for the production of pre-trial and in-trial support process documentation and workflows (e.g., litigation intake forms, check lists etc.); implement best practices related to litigation practice technology, document management and litigation workflow</li>
<li>Monitor litigation practice support technology trends and make recommendations to improve litigation support services</li>
<li>Assist with additional trial related needs and special projects as required</li>

Candidate Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience in a courtroom during trial and knowledge of preparing a courtroom with technology</li>
<li>Experience in a role that involved producing presentations for a law firm or other professional services organization</li>
<li>Experience in a role providing technology litigation support services is a plus</li>
<li>Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required</li>
<li>The ideal candidate will also have a high level of competency in the following:

<li>Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (particularly infographic production)</li>
