The Position:
This role supports areas of field Service operation within Sungrow USA related to commissioning, warranty, and Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) of the expanding installed sites in the region. Reporting to the regional field service supervisor, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning support of PV inverters and ancillary equipment/ systems, usually at the customer’s site or at a staging yard/warehouse. This position will comply with the Safety Mandate, “ZERO HARM,” to ensure safe and efficient work and operation of the facility for all personnel and equipment. Ensures that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Implements and enforces safety management policy and procedures regarding the facility: safety information, hazard analysis, safe operations/Maintenance Training, subcontractor compliance, plant integrity, work permits, emergency planning, and response. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Perform a variety of technical assignments involving the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of string and central solar inverter and/or BESS Systems, PCS, batteries, and ancillary equipment.</li>
<li>Perform general troubleshooting and diagnosis under Sungrow’s maintenance and repair guidelines. </li>
<li>As needed, support and perform pre-commissioning (with and without grid emulator) and commissioning of solar inverters and BESS systems within schedule and work plans </li>
<li>Additionally, for those on O&amp;M capacity, perform Preventive Maintenance and other Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) activities per the contract </li>
<li>Investigate solar plant issues such as DC array grid faults, inverter design issues, and utility grid transients. For BESS positions, these investigations may also involve SOC checks and module /component-level troubleshooting, replacement of electrical/electronic parts, SW version updates, etc.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the engineering and project team on possible mechanical and electrical design improvements.</li>
<li>Lead upgrade/rework projects (software and hardware) in the field and interact with customers to explain the project's technical scope and manage work schedule and commitments.</li>
<li>Work with customer SCADA engineers to set up systems communication and parameters involving Sungrow’s controllers and F&amp;G systems as needed.</li>
<li>Accurately describes troubleshooting sequences and procedures which they have observed</li>

Role Description: The DDI Engineer must have 5+ years of experience.
The Skills You Bring:
- 3–5 years of experience supporting network and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with BIND, Infoblox, or other DDI solutions
- Strong ability to troubleshoot DNS and DHCP issues
- Experience managing and deploying cloud-based infrastructure
- Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring server environments
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Job Description
Position Summary
The Engineering Mechanic Overnight will be under general supervision, assists in the maintenance, repair, refurbishment, renovation, remodelling, and general upkeep to keep the facility functional and attractive to prospective customers. A substantial amount of time will be spent painting. 
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Conduct walk-through and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C. systems, and any other related equipment.</li>
<li>Paint designated areas and complete plumbing repairs (i.e., clogged drains, copper pipe, change washers, change handles, drain fittings, etc.).</li>
<li>Refurbish furniture and fixtures and repair all types of wall coverings.</li>
<li>Complete all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, back of the house spaces and grounds. Complete assignments of all repairs, replacement, and renovations projects to offices and employee work areas. Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive hotel. </li>
<li>Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned areas of expertise such as the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, water treatment systems, and swimming pool, etc. </li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance on a regular basis and ensure that assigned equipment is maintained and operational. </li>
<li>Report all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.</li>
<li>Replenish supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner and minimize waste.</li>
<li>Take required readings on equipment.</li>
<li>Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures.</li>
<li>Protect employer’s privacy and data; keep passwords safe.</li>
</ul>

Other

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Team Members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. 
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Mandatory participation in MOD program.

<li>Able to work on a ladder up to 25 ft. high for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Able to work in enclosed or confined spaces, often in odd positions, that may be loud and wet.</li>
<li>Able to move throughout the premise and visually inspect conditions requiring bending, stooping, and reaching arms overhead.</li>
<li>Exposure to extreme temperatures outside of the building. </li>
<li>Able to use finger/hand movements for extended periods of time. Possess finger and hand dexterity to operate switches, writing instruments, a computer keyboard, etc.</li>
<li>Able to grasp and lift to 75 lbs., waist high. Ability to push or pull up to 200 lbs.</li>

Qualifications

Education: 
<ul>
<li>Specialized knowledge and skills or certification within a field or discipline such as plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.</li>
<li>Trade school and/or college coursework in related fields preferred.</li>
</ul>

Experience:
<ul>
<li>Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.</li>
</ul>
Licenses or certificates:
<ul>
<li>Any licenses or permits that may be required by law or company regulations, such as an Electrician's license.</li>
</ul>
Other:
<ul>
<li>Additional language ability preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with opening new hotels or extensive renovation projects.</li>
<li>Understand basic blueprints</li>
<li>Certifications a plus. </li>
<li>Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. </li>
