Job Summary
The Building Electrical Group is responsible for all building electrical systems including lighting, fire protection and low voltage for our design build, industrial projects. We design and build food and beverage production facilities. Our building electrical team is involved with designing the electrical systems, calculating power loads, determining, and selecting equipment sizes, and vetting and selecting suitable vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. The professional will have technical responsibility for scoping, performing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments. His/her specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Designing electrical systems for building power, i.e. normal, emergency, and standby power distribution systems for 208v, 480v, and medium voltage for industrial facilities. </li>
<li>Execute duties on larger projects independently </li>
<li>Client contact and lead engineer </li>
<li>Documenting all necessary calculations for the design such as short circuit, selective coordination, arc flash, generator sizing, steady state and transient voltage drops, load calculations, conductor sizing, raceway fills, etc. </li>
<li>Maintains project document organization </li>
<li>Manage time and meet commitments </li>
<li>Understands Ohms Law, AC/DC, Electric and magnetic fields </li>
<li>Understands power system theory – 3-phase vector math, power factor, symmetrical components </li>
<li>Understands capacitors, inductors, and resonance </li>
<li>Designing lighting for food processing spaces, including lighting calculations for emergency and inspection lighting level needs. Coordinating fixture placement/mounting with other trades. </li>
<li>Designing fire alarm systems per NFPA 72, 101, and local building code. </li>
<li>Code expertise – NEC, NFPA 72/101/, IBC </li>
<li>Specify means and methods </li>
<li>Specify other common work – grounding, start-up, LV &amp; MV Cables </li>
<li>Specify equipment </li>
<li>Designing low voltage systems such as LAN, phones, PA, Wi-Fi, access control, cameras, etc. </li>
<li>Create power plans </li>
<li>Create power one line and panel schedules </li>
<li>Define fire alarm requirements per IBC and NFPA 101 </li>
<li>Define Low Voltage Systems </li>
<li>Review scope with client – create and manage needs list </li>
<li>Producing bid documents consisting of layout drawings, one-line, riser, schedules, details, and specifications. </li>
<li>CAD – add 2D &amp; 3D devices to Xrefs </li>
<li>Procuring long lead light fixtures and power distribution equipment such as switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, MCC’s, generators, variable speed drives, and UPS’s. </li>
<li>Transformer configurations </li>
<li>Perform short circuit calculations identifying deficiencies or series ratings </li>
<li>Estimate weights of main tray/trapezes and equipment needing support </li>
<li>Assist in managing electrical bid process for clients, observing construction, and assisting with startup. </li>
<li>Project planning and feasibility studies. </li>
<li>Actively participating in and supporting department-wide standard development, updates, and maintenance. </li>
<li>Researching electrical building/power materials and best practices </li>
<li>Supporting talent growth within our organization </li>
<li>Assists with interviewing and hiring new team members </li>
<li>Handle complex issues and tasks with minimal supervision and advise subordinate team members on solutions to issues they encounter. </li>
<li>Provide coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group when directed by supervisor</li>

Required Education Skills and Experience
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related 4-year degree </li>
<li>8+ years of work experience in electrical systems for building power. </li>
<li>8+ years of work experience in designing lighting, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems for building spaces, including lighting calculations, and coordinating fixture placement with trades. </li>
<li>8+ years of work experience in electrical bid documents and procuring electrical materials and equipment. </li>
<li>8+ years of work experience in AutoCAD, Revit or other related design programs. </li>
<li>Relevant experience in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred. </li>
<li>FE or PE tracked desirable. </li>
<li>Travel to customer project sites for fieldwork, review, audit, and meetings, estimated 25%.</li>

What you will be doing:
As part of the Centralized Record Control Center (CRCC), the Record Management Specialist – Special Projects is primarily responsible for pulling records, data entry of patient demographic information, quality check and boxing records to be sent to offsite storage.
· Processes pre-Epic MGH paper records in the onsite file room. Retrieves record from the MGH onsite file room.
· Performs data entry of patient demographic information using the Record Management database tool.
· Performs a quality check on data entry and/or boxes medical records to be sent to office storage.
· Records daily volume and productivity of work completed on a daily basis
· Protects the confidentiality and integrity of patient information at all times
· Participates in team meetings reporting any issues to Team Leads and/or Manager
The right candidate will have:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must be able to regularly climb ladders, lift 25-pound containers of medical records and properly navigate hallways pushing oversized carts loaded with medical records
· Large file room/warehouse setting
· Organized, detail oriented, and work well in time sensitive situations.
· Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
· Ability to work independently and in a group/team setting.
· Accountability to comply with policies, procedures and work requirements (e.g. meeting daily productivity)
