Pathways Vermont Peer Respite Resident Support Staff - Per Diem 
The Company: Pathways Vermont is a dynamic nonprofit agency committed to permanently ending homelessness and offering innovative mental health alternatives throughout Vermont.

The Peer Respite House is a new project that offers guests a short-term retreat space in a home-like setting when they are experiencing mental health distress, wish to avoid hospitalization, or have a respite following a hospitalization prior to their return home. The peer-respite program is led and staffed by individuals who have experienced mental health challenges, dark periods or difficult life disruptions.
 
The Role: The Peer Respite Staff is a member of a support team that provides excellent, consistent, and equitable peer mental health services. This position supports house visitors through Intentional Peer Support and assists with daily house operations. 
 
As a peer respite, we require that applicants for peer support positions identify as having personal experience with life-interrupting emotional/mental health distress and other significant life challenges, and are aware that sharing some of that experience with others is a part of their job.
 
Location: In Person (Williston, VT)
Schedule: Per Diem, as needed (nights and weekends available)
Supervised by: Peer Respite House Manager or Shift Lead

<li>Oversee the implementation of all aspects of admissions- and enrollment-related work, being ultimately responsible for meeting enrollment goals across various metrics (# of applicants, conversion rates, diversity of incoming students, etc.)</li>
<li>Alongside the Founder, represent The Croft School and serve as the face of the school with prospective families</li>
<li>Engage and inform prospective parents and students (via introductory meetings, via school tours, via email communication, etc.) about The Croft School and what differentiates it from other schooling options</li>
<li>Coordinate systematic, efficient, and personalized handling of communication with families of applicants and other prospective students</li>
<li>Partner with school leadership teams to deeply understand each school and what makes them unique&nbsp;</li>
<li>Manage and make improvements to our enrollment databases and related tracking systems</li>
<li>Continuously consider and implement innovations and improvements to our admissions and enrollment processes and systems</li>
<li>Oversee and participate in the development of admissions (and related) materials and messaging, including making significant improvements to current practices and materials</li>
<li>In partnership with our school leaders and Founder, oversee the selection process of new students</li>
<li>In partnership with our Founder, oversee the financial support determination process</li>

Qualifications and Qualities
This team member needs to have two broad sets of skills: outstanding interpersonal “spark” and tremendous attention to hundreds and hundreds of details.&nbsp; More specifically, here are the ideal candidate’s qualifications and qualities:

<li>Outstanding attention to detail, including managing multiple and simultaneous streams of communications at any one time</li>

Compensation
The Croft School offers compensation which is competitive with other local independent and public school opportunities. &nbsp;The compensation for this role will be between approximately $95,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience.

Nellie's Treehouse is a family-owned and operated child care/early learning center located on Route 101A in Amherst, NH.
