Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Benefits Specialist leverages a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and leave management to administer and oversee all AgeSpan benefits programs. Employee Benefits Administration:

Oversees Agency personal and education leave policies.</li>
<li>Handles the leave administration process from the employee's initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as PFML/FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for continuous, intermittent, and reduced schedule leave use. </li>

External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents, and others to assist in resolving problems when required.

•Must be at least 16 years of age, and work with children only under direct supervision andobservation of a staff person.
