The Complimentary PM Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner within the complimentary evening/dinner area of a hotel. In addition, this individual shall be well-versed on the hotel-brand standards, guest expectations and the and unique characteristics of the hotel and local area.
QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.</li>

<li>Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance.</li>
<li>Clear, clean and reset tables/hotel spaces per client request or management instruction</li>
<li>Ensuring that bar, food and service areas are stocked, organized, clean and neat and all side work is complete each shift</li>
<li>Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.</li>
<li>Communicate with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs</li>
<li>Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary including washing dishes by hand and/or placing them in a dishwashing machine, restocking dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans or other necessary equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, washing work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks, moving trash and garbage to designated areas</li>
<li>Ability to answer the telephone according to standards.</li>
<li>Have a complete knowledge of standards of service for receiving a room service order.</li>
<li>Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable departments.</li>
<li>Carry out cashiering functions in closing checks and end of shift paperwork.</li>
<li>Perform opening and closing procedures, and side work duties according to station rotation assignment.</li>

The primary role of the Front Desk Assistant at Dogs Rock! Vermont is to make sure all of the clients have a positive experience with our company, scheduling all client appointments in a timely manner, and ensuring the completion of all front desk tasks before end of shift. The Front Desk Assistant should be able to work independently and follow protocols and procedures set forth by management, and adhere to company policies. The Front Desk Assistant serves a major role in distributing accurate and timely information to our client base. As a customer service facing position, the Front Desk Assistant should be familiar with customer policies and feel comfortable asserting them as needed.&nbsp;
The Front Desk Assistant will also oversee dog groups as needed as a secondary role within the company.&nbsp;

Responsibilities include:
Front Desk
<ul>
<li>Greeting and checking in clients as they come in for our daycare or day training</li>
<li>Building relationships with clients in person, over the phone, and through on-line communication</li>
<li>Maintaining an upbeat and compassionate attitude towards all clients</li>
<li>Answering phone calls, assisting clients with current and future booking reservations, and providing information about our services</li>
<li>Processing service requests and modifying reservations for daycare, day training, group classes, and private training</li>
<li>Taking payments through our computer system and cash register&nbsp;</li>
<li>Calling local vet offices to confirm vaccination records</li>
<li>Misc. light administrative projects and tasks given by management</li>
<li>Cleaning the front desk area, lobby, and retail area</li>
<li>Working with the facility managers to ensure that the overall flow of the front desk is consistent with our mission and goals</li>
</ul>
Dog Handling
<ul>
<li>Proactively managing dog play groups after our in-house training is completed</li>
<li>Adhering as closely as possible the daily schedule for the dogs, under guidance of the operations manager</li>
<li>Miscellaneous cleaning tasks &amp; duties</li>
<li>Record data about dogs and their behavior in internal documents and to management</li>
</ul>

<li>Excellent customer service and time management skills</li>
<li>Organized and systematic</li>
<li>Works well under pressure</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills including basic knowledge of technology and problem solving hardware and software issues</li>
<li>Proficient in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Gmail</li>
<li>Comfortable navigating cloud-based internal software systems</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for use with staff and clients</li>
<li>Enjoys being around many different types of dogs including a variety of breeds and behaviors</li>
<li>Dog Handling Skills (ability to take collars and harnesses on and off)</li>
<li>Knowledge of canine vaccinations and zoonotic diseases&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>1-2 years of professional experience working in dog daycare, veterinary office, shelter or training facility</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience in a customer service related field</li>
</ul>
 
Overall Division of Tasks: (Subject to change)

Pay range: $13-$14.99/hour
