The Role
 
Enclave is looking for a Boston General Manager to manage our day to day operations across the region and to lead our continued expansion in the area. The GM will be the lead on the ground responsible for site selection, growth, sales, staff management and daily operations.&nbsp;
 
The right candidate will be, above all else, a utility player. Responsibilities are as diverse as working with real estate agents to find the next Enclave location, managing general contractors, overseeing facilities staff, personally performing day to day operations tasks when necessary and coordinating member services and tours. The candidate will take on a lot of responsibility out of the gate, but will do so with the full support of the national team.&nbsp;
 
Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;

Requirements A group leader in a school-age program shall be at least 17 years of age, and have one of the following: -Experience working with school-age children, totaling 600 hours; -Documentation of at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; -Documentation that she or he is a certified coach; -Documentation of 5 years of parenting experience; or 
-Documentation form or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a group leader in a school-age program on or before the adoption of these rules in 2022. 
·Employees who are 19 years of age may be assigned to the senior program. 
·Knowledge of youth development. 
·Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems. 
·Ability to communicate with parents/guardians. 
·Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth. 
·Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment. 
·Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications in order to meet Bureau of Childcare licensing requirements. 
·Occasional travel for meetings/training, etc. may be required. 
·May be asked to drive Club van/short bus occasionally. (21 plus years of age only) 
·Must possess a safe driving record and submit a copy of such record to either the Operations Director or human resources department. As Assistant Local Manager, you will work alongside our Local Manager as you lead, develop and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals. 
Our Assistant Local Manager Will Also
<ul>
<li>Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies </li>
<li>Assist LM with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures</li>
<li>Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
<ul>
<li>Photography experience not required </li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery</li>
<li>Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management</li>
<li>Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed</li>
<li>Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training and/or recruiting</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned</li>

Knowledge, Experience &amp; Skill
<ul>
<li>At least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred </li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time</li>
