ABOUT THE ROLE:
 
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician specializing in the pediatric population will provide mental health treatment to children in the Southern-Central Vermont area. This position will play a crucial role in providing support and advocacy for children and their families, particularly in the primary care setting. The primary responsibility of this position will be to address the unique social, emotional, and developmental needs of pediatric patients and their families, ensuring their well-being during challenging times.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

<li>Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and their families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with illness, hospitalization, and social needs.</li>
<li>Assess Social Needs: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the social, environmental, and psychosocial needs of pediatric patients and their families. This includes evaluating their home environment, support systems, financial resources, and community resources / social determinants of health.</li>
<li>Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other behavioral health team members, to develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each pediatric patient and their family. These plans should incorporate social, emotional, and developmental interventions.</li>
<li>Conduct individual, family and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.</li>
<li>Provide Education: Deliver education and support to pediatric patients and their families about coping strategies, disease management, and community resources available to them. This may involve conducting group sessions or providing individualized education.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and care managers, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the holistic needs of pediatric patients.</li>
<li>Maintain Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.</li>
<li>Stay Current: Stay informed about current research, best practices, and policies related to pediatric social work, attending relevant conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs.</li>
</ul>
 

EDUCATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:
 
<ul>
<li>Master's degree in social work (MSW), marriage and family therapy (MFT), clinical mental health counseling (CMHC) or similar from an accredited institution is required.</li>
<li>Licensed clinician required (LMHC, LADC, LICSW, LMFT).</li>
<li>Prior experience in pediatric social work or a related field is highly desirable. </li>
<li>Experience in primary care settings is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of child development, family systems, and social work theories and interventions related to pediatrics.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families during challenging times.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess complex social situations and develop appropriate interventions.</li>

General Description
The Forklift Operator shall work to ensure actions reflect the company culture, work meets or exceeds company standards, values and working environment and actions reflect that as outlined by the Manager and will support the development and execution of the safety mission at Kennebec Lumber Company. This position ensures efficient shipping of lumber and organization of yard inventory. 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Load and Unload trucks with accuracy </li>
<li>Communicate with dispatcher; know the daily shipping activity </li>
<li>Assist in printing tags and tagging lumber </li>
<li>Scan outgoing lumber tags with handheld to produce shipping paperwork </li>
<li>Stack/Sort Full rows utilizing maximum height capacity </li>
<li>3-4 Packs high on hot top</li>
<li>Bases must be 2 full packs, DO NOT stack on partial packs </li>
<li>Stack all Species and Sizes together. All Lumber must be 6’ away from buildings </li>
<li>Keep yard free of loose blocking – keep picked up in racks </li>
<li>Clear all debris (strapping, etc.) from yard </li>
<li>Ensure lift is cleaned/inspected daily </li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li>

Miscellaneous Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Safety First - PPE Hard hat in all areas of the yard, florescent vests required for all yard activity, eye protection, hearing protection </li>
<li>Steel/Safety Toed footwear required in all areas </li>
<li>Hear Protection required in all areas near running equipment. Exception being – inside cab of outside machine forklifts </li>
<li>Report all near misses and unsafe acts </li>
