About The Opportunity

As a qualified Distribution Supervisor, you will supervise distribution CDL A/B drivers and load crew. You will also process company explosive orders and material orders, ensure efficient routes are selected and maintain required travel records in compliance with all appropriate DOT &amp; ATF standards, process explosive and material orders within established customer and vendor timeframes, and expedite product delivery to assist with changing field demand. This role is required to be pro-active in solving scheduling conflicts, will set daily work activities and priorities for the load crew and monitor emulsion balances for ordering purposes, will exceed industry standards in the delivery of Customer Service, and will rely on the Operations Manager to provide guidance and assistance on complex issues and in determining optimal solutions.
That means that you will be expected to:

<li>Supervise and schedule driver delivery assignments.</li>
</ul>
 * coordinate truck and driver assignments
 * establish trip directions and confirm arrival times to and from the job site
 * package driver directions, manifest and pick ticket
 * use Global Positioning System (GPS) to validate time and location of bulk vehicles, as needed.

<li>Supervise and schedule the load crew.</li>
</ul>
 * coordinate loading assignments and priorities with load crew forman
 * monitor daily production levels and emulsion needs
 * ensure training requirements are completed and will audit for compliance 
<ul>
<li>Enter explosive orders within Acumatica and schedule to meet customer expectations.</li>
<li>Review for accuracy and/or approve as required: driver and loader time sheets, driver logbooks, trip manifests, bin and trailer locations, delivery truck time tracking and schedules, mileage and fuel usage.</li>
<li>Enter and maintain Purchase Orders for material needs as well as vendor confirmations, all within the TimberLine system.</li>
<li>Manage, maintain and distribute the company’s two week truck schedule for explosive deliveries.</li>
<li>Resolve customer requests, questions and complaints frequently conducting analysis to determine the best use of available resources. Will be guided by the Explosive Operating Policy, EOP.</li>
<li>Serve as liaison between the customer and various departments.</li>
<li>Positively influence customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely and competent manner.</li>
<li>Compile monthly performance metrics for distribution and load crew</li>
<li>Ensure routine maintenance of equipment / trucks and a clean and safe work environment.</li>
<li>Will hire, train and issue disciplinary action, with guidance from the Operations Manager.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

<li>2-3 years of prior Customer Service experience or supervisory experience.</li>
<li>General industry knowledge preferred, not required.</li>

<li>Solid PC skills with thorough understanding of database and spreadsheet applications</li>

<li>Assists the Operations Managers on duty with all operational tasks.</li>
<li>Assigns the de-icing trucks in preparation for the de-icing operations.</li>
<li>Assists personnel in de-icing techniques.</li>
<li>Assist personnel during de-icing and snow removal operations.</li>
<li>Fills up Icehouse / Iceman positions when needed.</li>
<li>Act as a practical trainer during the operations and the training sessions.</li>
<li>Ensure that equipment and vehicles are used correctly.</li>
<li>Supervises the fill-up station's operations.</li>
<li>Assist in the environmental monitoring and required analysis.</li>
<li>Ensures that distributed tasks are well executed (e.g., maintenance, dips, etc.)</li>
<li>Ensure that all distributed tasks are performed correctly.</li>
<li>Participate and animate pre- and post-operation meetings.</li>
<li>Responsible for offering and maintaining a safe work environment, and for following up on safety policies and standards. Ensure that safety policies and standards are followed.</li>
<li>Follows up on the ratio board and vehicle repair board.</li>
<li>Assists the Operations managers during the technician's performance evaluations.</li>
<li>Participates in the briefing and debriefing meetings.</li>
<li>Attend to the reception of the Glycol and related documentation.</li>
<li>Assist/manage the recovery and disposal of Used Glycol.</li>
<li>Assist in monitoring the inventory of Glycol, fuel, and necessary equipment.</li>
<li>All additional tasks required from the Operations Managers</li>

What You Bring
<ul>
<li>Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li>
<li>Drug screening test and Airport security background check</li>
<li>Relevant de-icing experience.</li>
<li>Bay lead experience or equivalent experience for at least one (1) year,</li>
<li>Must possess a good sense of initiative.</li>
<li>Needs to be self-motivated.</li>
<li>Can work autonomously as well as within a team.</li>
<li>Must be able to work various shifts.</li>
<li>Must display leadership skills.</li>
<li>Considers health and safety as a top priority.</li>
<li>Supervisory and/or training experience will be considered an asset</li>
<li>Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset</li>
