BB&amp;N is seeking a head varsity lacrosse coach for the boys' team. This is a stipend, part-time position during the spring season for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include all aspects of team organization, including practice planning and administrative tasks. The head coach will provide examples of fair play, team building, character building, and respect for the players. The BB&amp;N Athletic Department expects its coaches to operate within the athletic philosophy of BB&amp;N and adhere to the BB&amp;N coaches’ manual as well as the Independent School League (ISL) and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) rules and guidelines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning and overseeing practice and games, mentoring and instructing players in skill development, character development, and teamwork, communicating with parents/guardians relevant information regarding games, practices, and other team commitments, and supporting and developing those students with an ability and/or desire to compete at the collegiate level.

We are currently in need of coaches who can work a part time schedule (12-20 hours / week). Currently in need of coaches who can easily travel within the Framingham area.
Classes are scheduled in 35 minute time slots starting from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F. You will be working with children ages 2-6 at various preschools throughout the area. Classes may be scattered throughout the day, but most coaches will work no more than 4-5 classes in a day.

What You’ll Do
As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth. 
You’ll also:
<ul>
<li>Help student athletes develop positive attitudes while promoting and teaching fair play and good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.</li>
<li>Develop a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by Veritas Prep High School, including state and league regulations.</li>
<li>Attend public/staff/departmental meetings when required.</li>
<li>Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.</li>
<li>Assist in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times. </li>
<li>Coordinate with maintenance and school employees and provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and sites.</li>
<li>Monitor student athletes' grades and conduct.</li>
<li>Be present at all practices and games, and while traveling, provide assistance and guidance to and safeguards for each participant. </li>
<li>Complete and submit paperwork on all disabling athletic injuries on proper forms </li>
<li>Direct student managers and statisticians on respective teams. </li>
<li>Determine discipline and delineate procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary.</li>
<li>Monitor use and return of equipment, submitting an annual inventory</li>
<li>Submit team records to Athletic Director, including awards lists, all signature forms, and all scores of each competition, including post-season play. </li>
<li>Arrive early enough before practice, contests, and meetings to adequately prepare and remain long enough afterward to help players with problems or to become involved in staff discussions. </li>
<li>Plan and implement in-season and out-of-season conditioning and weight programs. </li>
<li>Perform such other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the Principal/Athletic Director.</li>

Requirements
What You’ll Need

<li>Previous volleyball coaching experience (preferred)</li>
<li>Knowledge and background in volleyball.</li>
<li>If you choose to drive the Veritas Prep Activity Vans, you will be required to have a valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle driving record</li>

Benefits
COMPENSATION: Coaching stipends will be determined based on previous coaching experience, length of season, practice schedule, etc.
The Stipend Range is $3,500 to $4,322
Additionally, coaches who choose to drive and are approved will earn $25/hr for time spent driving to and from sporting events.

Fitness Coach:
As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 members per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting, and produce a high-energy and positive experience for our members. An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the member’s experience and results.
Fitness Coaches are leaders of the Orangetheory workouts. This requires them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. In the weight room, coaches must demonstrate all exercises for members which can involve but is not limited to: Bosu balls, medicine balls, dumbbells, TRX, or other fitness equipment.
 
About Orangetheory Fitness:
Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. Job Responsibilities:

<li>Responsible for executing positive, high energy, OTF training sessions</li>
<li>Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other area of the studio when needed</li>
<li>Responsible for marketing OTF training services inside and outside the OTF studio. Examples: are marketing events with your OTF team, tents, and tables, etc.</li>
<li>Responsible for building OTF attendance and retaining current clientele</li>
<li>Responsible for the safety of your participants in regard to heart rate, exercise technique, posture and spine, as well as joint stress and stability when resistance training</li>
<li>Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings and continuing education presentations</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Intermediate level knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics</li>
<li>Experience in training clients through functional training techniques</li>
<li>Experience in group exercise and training settings is highly desirable</li>
<li>Must have the ability to progress and regress exercises on the fly, in real time</li>
<li>Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Must have the desire and capacity to train all fitness levels, novice to elite</li>
<li>Must hold a current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA,NCSF and ISSA</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in an Exercise Related Field is preferred</li>
<li>Must have current CPR/AED certification</li>
<li>1+ years of professional experience teaching groups and/or personal training in the Fitness Industry</li>
<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li>
<li>Must have the strength and ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.</li>
