SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Residential Coordinator, the Assistant Residential Coordinator provides support to participants with the goal of maximizing their capacity for personal growth and community membership consistent with each participant's support plan, as well as ensuring effective staffing, scheduling, and operation of the program. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision, Training and Administrative Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Residential Program Manager to join our team!
As a Residential Program Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of a residential program for adults living with developmental disabilities, as well as the overall health and safety of the persons residing there. You will help people in the areas of daily living skills, transportation, skill-building, money management, medication administration, risk mitigation and other areas based on the person centered treatment plan. 
What you'll do:

Residential Program Manager

Job Description
The Floating Program Manager is responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of the assigned residential program. The Program Manager is fully integrated into the integrated team and provides supervision and guidance to the GLE staff’s efforts to provide direct care and treatment planning interventions. This position will float to different group living environments to manage the programs when there is a vacancy in the Program Manager position.
Salary starts at: $67,980
Expectations of the Role:
<ul>
<li>Ensures that day to day operations of the assigned group home are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation</li>
<li>Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and facilitate progressive discipline as needed for all staff in conjunction with the Residential Services Coordinator.</li>
<li>Arrange staff schedules to meet the health and safety requirements, as well as the individual needs of the people.</li>
<li>Supervises the development and implementation of Quality Indicators through the IAP process and Program Goals.</li>
<li>Participates in the assessment of person referrals, admissions and discharges.</li>
<li>Insures the program and person records are current, comprehensive and meet agency and funding source standards.</li>
<li>Liaison with families/guardians, DMH, and other outside service providers.</li>
<li>Supervises and participates in the housekeeping and maintenance of the house and vehicle.</li>
<li>Participates in the development of the program budget, and monitors the program expenses.</li>
<li>Supervises the management of person’s funds and possessions, within the guidelines of the IAP and agency.</li>
<li>Monitor medications in accordance with MAP regulations</li>
<li>Teach NSMHA trainings to newly hired employees</li>
</ul>
What you’ll need:
Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related filed highly preferred.
Experience: Two years of supervisory experience. Two year’s experience in Human Services, specifically experience with population that has developmental disorders and/or mental health, and supervisory experience required.
Skills: Must have Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/first aide certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire (training provided).

Responsibilities: 
1. Attend to the daily needs of persons served on an individual basis as well as foster increased independence and self-determination.
2. Teach socialization skills and activities of daily living including: household maintenance; self-care and hygiene; self-awareness and human development, menu planning, food shopping and preparation; money management skills/budgeting; transportation and community orientation; consumer skills; and utilization of community resources.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) including implementation of behavioral objectives/plans.
4. Participate in IAP meetings and other meetings as required by supervisor.
5. Supervise and document consumer self-administration of medications as prescribed by a physician in accordance with agency and program procedures.
6. Record and appropriately utilize necessary data, daily progress notes, staff log and complete all other IAP and program required documentation.
7. Transport consumers to and from day programs, medical appointments and other activities as required.
8. Provide opportunities for leisure time activities and foster independence in the choice and participation of those activities.
9. Organize, develop and implement group and individual activities which serve to integrate the lives of consumers with members of their community.
10. Fulfill case management responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, including those related to medical and legal concerns.
11. Ensure client safety and comply with program standards for staff coverage, including assistance to the Administrator-On-Call whenever possible.
12. Act as consumer advocate and role model.
13. Provide a supportive environment that includes opportunities for consumers to determine, to the fullest extent possible, personal decisions for daily schedules and routines.
14. Maintain knowledge of ongoing program issues and developments as well as informing supervisor of program issues and concerns.
15. Communicate in a professional manner.
16. Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor.
17. Perform duties consistent with program and agency policies and procedures.
18. Execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards. Universal/standard precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute risk.
