Lead Staff for School Age Childcare is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a broad range of programs for youth between the age of 5 and 13. Additional responsibilities include complying with EEC regulations.
This position is a part time year-round position. The School Age Child Care lead staff person must have reliable transportation. Hours of operating are Monday - Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, excluding school vacation weeks and summer break. Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. (per EEC regulations)

GENERAL SUMMARY
In partnership with residential management, implements a comprehensive system of highly personalized residential supports which create a safe and therapeutic environment for program participants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
<ul>
<li>Hires, trains, evaluate, and provide support to Residential Supervisors assigned to residences; ensures Residential Supervisors understand program and performance standards.</li>
<li>Ensures regulatory and policy compliance in assigned homes by conducting comprehensive record reviews, facility inspections, program participant fund audits and other programmatic reviews geared to ensure program participants receive optimal services and are comfortable in their homes and supporting community.</li>
<li>Guides Residential Supervisors in the development of appropriate treatment plans, including but not limited to, individual service plans (ISP), provider service agreements, assessments, individual residence plans, person-centered plans behavior protocols and clinical support plans for all program participants supported. Monitors implementation of all plans.</li>
<li>Assists with recruiting, supervising, and training Direct Support Professionals.</li>
<li>Serves as the primary liaison with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) State Head Injury Program and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) for people in assigned homes.</li>
<li>Provides regular, mandatory trainings for all Agency staff including, but not limited to, fire safety, emergency procedures, universal precautions, vital signs, assessing signs and symptoms of illness or injury and other relevant trainings.</li>
<li>Reviews and finalizes reporting including incident reports, restraint reports, medication occurrence reports, ISP assessments and objectives and other key reports.</li>
<li>Ensures Agency is compliant with state regulatory standards, as well as, standards set forth by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).</li>
<li>Provides rotational weekend and evening coverage for emergency on-call.</li>
<li>Serves as mandated reporter for suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC).</li>
