Job Summary:
Assisting the Spa &amp; Fitness Manager in all areas of the spa, fitness center, and recreation activities. Provide the most exceptional and memorable spa experience for our guests, anticipating all guest needs, providing the highest quality products, and exceptional treatments that will have the guests coming to Mount Snow not just for the snow, but for the naturespa.&nbsp; Training and supporting the spa concierges and team leads in all areas of the spa, fitness center, and recreation activities.

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Audit Monthly Inventory.</li>
<li>Process daily time management and bi-weekly payroll, commissions, and service charges in spreadsheets and Time &amp; Labor.</li>
<li>Program and update PLU products in SpaSoft POS and Reservation System.  </li>
<li>Update and analyze reports as needed by Spa Director to optimize budget goals.  </li>
<li>Maintain accounting journals for wages, open checks.  </li>
<li>Maintain Marketing programs for social media, collateral assets, and signage.  </li>
<li>Update training manuals for spa concierge and fitness center attendants.  </li>
<li>Prepare purchase orders in Coupa and place retail and supply orders with vendors.  </li>
<li>Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of hiring candidates, as well as off boarding seasonal staff </li>
<li>Manage and review staff compliance, goals setting, performance reviews, and exit interviews.  </li>
<li>Participate in Best Practice Group, HSLT Department Head meetings, and other resort teams to further business objectives. </li>
<li>Assist in developing seasonal products and marketing plans.  </li>
<li>Monitor reservation system for efficient and quality service.</li>
<li>Supervise staff and operations in collaboration with the Spa &amp; Fitness Manager.</li>
<li>Assist with scheduling spa technicians and fitness instructors according to occupancy demands including maintenance of PTO requests and records.</li>
<li>Monitor spa and fitness center job checklist assuring that all items are done in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor and correspond on communication channels.</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, service, and safety standards to include GX Medallia scores, safety logs/reports.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics in dealing with guests, co-workers, and subordinates.</li>
<li>Comply with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.</li>
<li>Performance of all special projects as requested by Spa &amp; Fitness Manager or Resort Management.</li>
<li>Engage in Vail leadership training and inter-department management philosophies.</li>
<li>Other duties/stretch assignments as assigned by Spa &amp; Fitness Manager or Resort Management. </li>
</ul>

Job Requirements:&nbsp; 
<ul>
<li>College degree in Hospitality, Administration, or comparable skills and knowledge -required   </li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff on both an individual and group basis -required  </li>
<li>Must be able to maintain flexibility in schedule to meet guest occupancy and staffing demands to include weekends and holidays. -required  </li>
<li>Ability to lift 30 lbs. -preferred   </li>
<li>Proficiencies in Microsoft systems: Word, Publisher, Excel, One Drive, Outlook, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud, SpaSoft or other related reservations/POS systems --preferred   </li>
<li>Excellent management, organization and guest service skills. -preferred</li>

The expected pay range is&nbsp;$25.00/hr - $34.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
