<li>Approve Document Change Orders (DCOs) and obtain approvals from others as required.</li>
<li>Manage the companys Calibration and Preventive Maintenance system.</li>
<li>Manage the companys Complaints system.</li>
<li>Manage the companys CAPA system.</li>
<li>Manage the companys Training system.</li>
<li>Manage the companys NCMR and Process Deviations system.</li>
<li>Perform Pest Control monitoring.</li>
<li>Identify, analyze and implement improvements to both manufacturing and design processes.</li>

Manufacturing: 
<ul>
<li>Provide Quality oversight in the manufacturing process. Review and approve manufacturing documentation such as routings, inspection reports, NCMRs, etc.</li>
<li>Manage the companys Supplier Management system. Ensure that suppliers are qualified as required. Develop, implement and manage processes for tracking supplier performance.</li>
<li>Perform component, assembly and finished-goods inspection. Identify, procure and maintain required inspection equipment. Perform and document component, assembly and finished-goods inspection.</li>
<li>Manage the companys NCMR system. Participate in NCMR disposition determination and documentation. Make decisions regarding product and material discrepancies and initiate appropriate action to prevent subsequent problems or discrepancies.</li>
<li>Maintain the cleanroom. Ensure ongoing cleanroom environment monitoring, microbial monitoring, and annual certification.</li>
<li>Maintain processes to ensure that device packaging and labeling meet regulatory requirements and customers needs. Inspect labels.</li>
<li>Manage the sterilization of devices by outside vendors. Conduct and document sterilization validations.</li>
</ul>
Product Development: 
<ul>
<li>Provide quality engineering expertise in projects to develop medical devices (disposable and reusable), catheters, equipment, implants, and/or packaging. Ensure that products meet performance specifications, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.</li>
<li>Provide Quality Engineering services to client companies.</li>
<li>Interact with client companies in a professional manner. Proactively communicate with client companies to ensure an ongoing two-way exchange of information.</li>
<li>Participate in product verification and validation testing and data analysis.</li>
<li>Conduct or contribute to risk analyses, including Failure Mode and Effects Analyses, Hazard Analysis, and Risk Management Plans and Reports.</li>

Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:We have a Controls Engineering position available in our Wilmington, MA office. This person will support controls engineering project requirements involving PLC programming, DCS programming, HMI/SCADA programming, database management, control panel design, instrumentation specification, engineering documentation support, check-out support and commissioning assistance. *Job Descriptions are not exhaustive lists of all skills, responsibilities, or efforts associated with a job. RESPONSIBILITIES:This position requires the Controls Engineer to conceptualize, detail and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery that meet our client’s requirements. This involves the development of a control system architecture, selecting the components to be used, detailing schematic diagrams and system documentation, programming controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU), programming the process visualization (HMI/SCADA), developing databases for archiving/displaying historical system data, and implementing/commissioning the control system at the client’s facility. Knowledge of controller programming languages such as Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text and others to achieve the desired results is required. Also having knowledge of standard programming languages such as VBA, .NET and SQL for the development of HMI/SCADA systems is preferred. For larger systems, experience with industrial networking used to connect control system components and instrumentation is preferred. The Controls Engineer may design, detail and implement a variety of fiber, wired and wireless systems using industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.). The ideal candidate must have a diverse engineering skill set with the ability to work independently. Will act as a technical contributor on projects both as part of a collaborative team and independent contributor based on the size/scope of the project. May act as technical lead on projects and guide junior engineers and technicians. Could also act as Project Manager on smaller projects. QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science is required. 5+ years with capabilities in below areas is preferred: An in-depth understanding of PLC hardware/software platforms such Rockwell Automation. <li>Work with an organized Project Management team to ensure all project details match requirements of drawings, meet project timelines and maintain a culture of safety on all job sites.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards regarding quality and professionalism on job sites at all times. This includes consistent attendance, attention to detail, and support of your team.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>EPA and trade school preferred</li>
<li>1-2 years in a commercial piping install setting </li>
<li>Valid Driver's License in good standing.</li>
<li>High School diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret specifications and blueprints a plus. If you do not have these skills, training can be provided.</li>
