Job title: Quality Inspector, 2nd Shift

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday

Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for quality inspection/quality assurance activities. This includes interpretation and implementation of quality standards to routine inspection/testing and manufacturing activities.

Duties and responsibilities

· Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across restor3d.

· Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the Quality Control department and work towards those goals.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prioritize and plan work activities; adapt for changing conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as defined on the print.
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, finished parts, and materials for conformance to quality control standards.
  • Must be able to perform 100% inspections of non-conformance reports (NCR’s).
  • Proficient in the use of hand measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
  • Working knowledge of optical comparators and CMM for inspection.
  • Understanding of calibration requirements for inspection equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to embrace new inspection tools and methodologies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience performing inspection within an FDA or other regulated environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • GD&T certification a plus.
  • Advanced metrology experience a plus.
  • Operate and program CMM.
  • Operate Optical Comparator.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement with regards to Quality, efficiency, and customer focused results.
  • 20/20 Vision required with or without corrective lenses.
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment of different sizes.
  • Proficient in the use of hand measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
  • Willingness and ability to embrace new inspection tools and methodology.
  • Ability to multi-task, perform efficiently, and independently.
