Job Description
KMM Telecommunications is looking for a motivated and skilled Civil Technician to join our Team of Telecommunications Professionals in Shrewsbury, MA. We are looking for an individual that values hard-work and trust and wants to be part of a Team that values the same. This position would be in a 3- or 4-person Civil Crew. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, and tower foundations.</li>
<li>Experience preferred with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors.</li>
<li>Civil construction tasks such as earth moving, equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing, and painting.</li>
<li>Electrical experience and grounding (cad-weld) is a bonus.</li>
<li>Ability to read construction drawings is a bonus.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as a team making sound decisions on behalf of the company.</li>
<li>Communicate needs, problems, and questions to the civil foreman.</li>
<li>Install, connect, and test underground and above-ground grounding systems.</li>
<li>Carpentry and miscellaneous trade skills.</li>
<li>Landscaping, grading, and fence building as necessary.</li>
<li>Work with Civil Crew Foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials.</li>
<li>Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by Civil Crew Foreman.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe job site.</li>
<li>Assist fellow employees in completing tasks on a teamwork basis.</li>
<li>Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hours.</li>
<li>Adhere to all driving requirements as determined by State and Federal regulations</li>
<li>Adhere to all KMM and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations</li>
<li>Always keep KMM company vehicle clean and presentable</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>

Job Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge and ability to read blueprints, details and specifications required</li>
<li>Heavy Equipment operator experience required</li>
<li>HE SA Operator Certification preferred</li>
<li>Commercial/residential electrical experience preferred</li>
<li>AC/DC power and back up battery system experience preferred</li>
<li>The ability to operate a company vehicle ability to sit, stand, kneel, or stoop for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Must be physically capable of manually digging &amp; backfilling holes and trenches.</li>
<li>Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.</li>
<li>High school diploma, GED or equivalent, and 1-3+ year(s) recent construction or related experience</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with an MVR record that classifies you as insurable. </li>
