Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will assist in leading our maintenance team operation.&nbsp; Works closely with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance procedures and projects for the hangars, terminal, and off-site government affairs buildings.&nbsp; Focusing on safety, efficiency and client satisfaction.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Supervisor, in coordination with the Manager, will verify and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and customers by OSHA and Airport Policies.&nbsp;&nbsp; Location: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Boston, MA Shifts: 2nd Shift 2 PM-10:30 PM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Supervise high-skilled and general maintenance technicians.</li>
<li>Train and lead team members in preventive maintenance and repairs. </li>
<li>Under the Manager’s direction, establish priorities daily for all facilities maintenance requests and adjust schedules to meet regular and emergency demand.</li>
<li>Assist the Manager implement work order schedules and maximize usage of available capacity and resources along with daily office operations.</li>
<li>Conduct daily facility inspections to identify necessary repairs.</li>
<li>Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections and tasks according to maintenance schedules.</li>
<li>Diagnose other equipment issues and assist in the diagnosis of process-related problems through collaborative teamwork.</li>
<li>Perform seasonal snow and ice removal duties including shoveling walkways, applying de-icing agents, and operating snow blowers or plows as needed.</li>
<li>Use computer-based CMMS system to create and closeout work orders with data including labor hours, equipment, maintenance, and parts used.</li>
<li>Available to work flexible hours.</li>
<li>Available for an assigned emergency on-call schedule.</li>
<li>Keeps workspace neat, clean and free of clutter.</li>
<li>Understand and comply with OSHA, Safety and PPE requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure before and after work photos are captured.</li>
<li>Communicate and enforce workplace safety precautions.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory, order supplies and coordinate with outside vendors.</li>
<li>Assume primary contact role in Manager’s absence.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Identify opportunities for improvement of the facility and the facility maintenance program.</li>
</ul>
 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
<ul>
<li>Responsible for training in preventive maintenance and repairs techniques.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Receives general direction as to goals and the achievement of those goals.&nbsp; Evaluated based on the successful performance of essential job duties and responsibilities and achievement of goals.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Participate in the interview process; assist with the selection of new employees for the team; onboard and train employees as needed.</li>

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

<li>Associate degree or technical certification in a field related to Facilities Management, Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or Industrial Maintenance or a combination of education and equivalent experience.</li>
<li>3+ years of facility management experience.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS programs - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) system.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in supervising, mentoring, guiding and directing employees in a similar job group.</li>
<li>Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task.</li>
</ul>
WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to address the needs of the customer.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions/physical requirements of the job.&nbsp; Additional requirements are as follows:

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

<li>Pass the Boston Logan International Airport Background</li>
<li>Pass a driving history check</li>
