<li>Provide companionship to the residents through social visits, and daily conversation encouragement to participant in activities, escorting if necessary and helping to create a warm and supportive community atmosphere for residents</li>
<li>Has complete understanding of emergency procedures</li>
<li>Responds immediately to any witnessed or potential medical emergencies by taking appropriate action, calling for assistance, and notifying supervisor immediately</li>
<li>Maintains a daily log, documenting in written form the resident assistant services performed each day. Communicates via resident log any notable changes, deletions additions in resident services to next shifts.</li>
<li>Observe and report any significant changes in resident behavior or health to supervisor</li>
<li>Full-time and part-time regular shifts work every other weekend</li>
<li>Be courteous at all times to residents, remembering their rights to dignity and confidentiality </li>
<li>Perform additional assigned duties at the direction of Resident Care Director</li>

Job Description 
The Vice President, Quality Assurance is responsible for the Quality Assurance function of Sirtex Medical Inc. and its subsidiary entities, and serves as a leader for Sirtex's currently marketed products, products in all stages of internal pipeline development, and products that may be acquired by Sirtex from third parties. This role ensures that the quality management system is developed, maintained and applied in a practical, coordinated and effective manner for both medical device and pharmaceuticals, in alignment with company requirements and objectives, and in compliance with&nbsp; all applicable regulations and standards.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, the Vice President, Quality Assurance is responsible for the formulation, implementation and realization of the Company's global Quality strategy. The Vice President, Quality Assurance will: work with R&amp;D, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory Affairs and Engineering on the company’s Quality strategy as a key input to product development; maximize on-time product approvals; manage strict regulatory practices globally within global standards of practice; maintain and protect the Company's existing product approvals; and develop and maintain high quality, productive relationships with statutory regulatory bodies globally.
They will also serve as an expert related to the FD&amp;C Act, 21CFR820, 210, 211, 212, 812, 807,&nbsp; 803 and 801 requirements. <li>Prior experience in leading successful CE submissions to EU Notified Bodies is desired</li>
<li>Prior experience within a national regulatory agency US FDA, EMA, Australian TGA is desirable</li>

<li>Attend to patients in a courteous and professional manner</li>
<li>Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules and regulations; company policies; federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes.</li>
<li>Complete an ambulance and medical equipment checklist at the beginning of each assigned shift. Inspect and clean the assigned ambulance and all medical equipment to ensure compliance with minimum stock requirements and proper function.</li>
<li>Complete and submit all documentation/paperwork requirements daily.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with EMS agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers</li>
<li>Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines</li>
<li>Must maintain a reliable attendance record</li>
<li>Perform daily housekeeping duties at assigned bases of operation</li>
<li>Complete other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Per Diem Employees work a minimum of 40 hours per month</li>

PREREQUISITES
Education: Some high school or equivalent
Experience: No previous experience required&nbsp;
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS&nbsp;
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.&nbsp;
 
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.&nbsp;
