Summary

Bring your creativity and enthusiasm for working with children to the early childhood laboratory school for children on-campus at Colby-Sawyer College. Programs include toddler, nursery school and pre-kindergarten. Teachers provide formal and informal instruction and care for children, in a play-based setting, while providing guidance and training for Colby-Sawyer College students in a licensed lab school setting.
Substitute positions are available for the school year and/or year-round.

Duties

• Complete required trainings and orientation for Windy Hill Substitute Teachers
• Perform duties of classroom teacher as a member of a teaching team or independently.
• Provide care and education to the children in your care.
• Follow school, college and childcare licensing policies and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy experience for the children in your care.

Requirements

• Associate teacher or assistant teacher qualified,
• Successful experience working with young children,
• Clear background check,
• Current first aid and CPR.
