Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist to support a K-12 public school located in Pittsfield, MA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly onsite, providing critical services to a diverse student population throughout the academic school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote effective student support.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently and work onsite full-time.
