- Job Details
- Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation.
- Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age.
- Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
- Able to insert and remove IV's.
- Job Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience required.
- Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
- ARRT Registered- RT (R) or RT (N).
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to obtain CT License.
- CPR certified.
- Schedule Information
- Contract length is 13 weeks.
- Additional Details
- MGB NWH Self-Study Orientation & Attestation required for onboarding.
- Fit Test (N95) within 365 days to start date and updated annually; no religious exemptions considered.
- Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccines or proof of immunity required.
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions or waivers considered.
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.
- Physician Health Statement within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.
- MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
- MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.
- MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
- MGB References: 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above, in skillset required for submission.
- MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
- MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
- MGB Education Verification through background check company required for onboarding.
- MGB SSN Trace must be run with criminal check and list addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
- MGB National Sex Offender Check ran within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- MGB Exclusion Checks ran within 30 days of start and annually.
- MGB TB Symptom Survey (if Positive PPD) to be completed prior to start and updated annually.
- MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission.
