Job Description Experienced Painter – MJR PaintingMJR Painting is seeking experienced, dependable painters to join our growing team. We are a professional painting contractor serving residential and commercial clients throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Position: Experienced Painter (W-2 Employee)
Pay
$27–$32+ per hour based on experience, skill level, certifications, and production ability.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Ability to pass background screening if required
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA Certification (preferred)
- Lead-Safe Certification (preferred)
- Lift Operation Experience (preferred)
- Experience supervising projects or crew members (a plus)
Responsibilities
Candidates should have experience in most or all of the following:
Surface Preparation
- Washing, scraping, sanding, and priming
- Caulking and sealing
- Protecting client property and jobsite setup
- Proper masking and covering techniques
Painting
- Interior and exterior painting
- Residential and commercial painting
- Brush, roll, and spray application
- Fine finish work on trim, doors, and woodwork
- Cabinet refinishing and cabinet painting
Drywall & Repairs
- Drywall patching and repair
- Texture matching
- Minor carpentry and trim repairs
- Surface restoration and preparation
Commercial Work
- Working in occupied commercial spaces
- Following safety protocols and jobsite procedures
- Operating lifts and elevated work platforms
- Understanding production schedules and quality standards
