Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an elementary school setting focused on a severe behaviors program. This contract position offers approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible through June 2026. BCBA supervision will be provided to ensure professional growth and effective service delivery.
Location: Lowell, MA (Elementary School)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Work directly with students exhibiting severe behaviors to support skill development and positive behavior changes
- Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and program protocols
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to manage challenging behaviors compassionately and effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to BCBA guidance
