PC/LAN Technical Support Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (TEMP TO PERM)
Location: On-Site in Cambridge, MA (5 days per week)

Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on PC/LAN Technical Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support for a growing biotech company. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations including laptop and printer management, troubleshooting, and resolving help desk tickets. The environment is small and collaborative, with 10–20 people on-site daily and approximately 50 total employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily on-site technical support for end-users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Manage, configure, and maintain company laptops, printers, and related peripherals
- Monitor and respond to help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and quality customer service
- Support PC and LAN infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management
- Document support requests, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed for equipment repairs or service escalations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT technical support, including hardware, software, and LAN troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Windows-based environments and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience managing laptops, printers, and other office IT equipment
- Familiarity with LAN technologies, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Schedule: On-site in Cambridge, MA, 5 days per week
- Environment: Small, close-knit office within a well-funded biotech organization with multiple therapies in development, including a promising oncology biologic currently in Phase 3
