Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated entry-level laboratory professional to support drug discovery and research activities within a wet chemistry laboratory environment. This individual will work closely with scientists and chemists to assist with laboratory experiments, sample preparation, reagent formulation, and documentation activities. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates looking to gain hands-on industry experience in a research setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support scientists and chemists in the execution of laboratory-based drug discovery experiments.
- Prepare samples, buffers, solutions, and reagents according to established procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory techniques, including pipetting, reagent preparation, and sample handling.
- Assist with HPLC sample preparation and analytical testing activities.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Enter, organize, and verify experimental data within laboratory databases and electronic systems.
- Ensure laboratory supplies and consumables are stocked and readily available.
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines, SOPs, and good documentation practices.
- Assist with general laboratory organization, maintenance, and housekeeping activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience through industry, internships, academic research, or coursework is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with pipetting, sample preparation, reagent preparation, or analytical laboratory techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with HPLC or other analytical instrumentation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately document and communicate experimental results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Woburn, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
