Empower students to communicate and thrive by supporting their speech and language development in a dynamic school-based setting near South Yarmouth, MA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working under a contract arrangement, you’ll create a significant impact in students’ educational journeys, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid and current licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP role or with pediatric populations strongly desired
  • Competent in evaluating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and required documentation
  • Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
  • Educate students, staff, and families about speech and language strategies
