Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and provide caregiver education.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for safe dysphagia management.
- Document evaluations, session notes, and discharge summaries per facility and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Speech-Language Pathology licence in the applicable state.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required or pending.
- Minimum 1 year SNF or post-acute rehab experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
