Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for clients to evaluate their experiences and develop appropriate and tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, integrating various therapeutic modalities.

• Deliver effective therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and foster a supportive community.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client's health are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate their immediate emotional needs.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, promoting informed resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular professional development activities and team discussions focusing on trauma-informed care updates and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work primarily with trauma survivors in our community. Our clientele spans a range of demographics, encompassing individuals with varied histories and experiences, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these clients through their recovery journeys, ultimately empowering them to achieve long-term emotional wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Massachusetts as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, supporting the documented progress of clients.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
