How will you make an impact?
The Validation Manager leads the planning, execution, and documentation of equipment, systems, and process validation activities across key customer sites and portfolios. This role ensures that qualification and validation work is performed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with regulatory guidelines (FDA, cGMP, ISO) and customer-specific protocols. This role partners closely with customers, field validation engineers, technical leads, and internal support teams to scope projects, assign technical resources, manage timelines, resolve issues, and maintain excellent service delivery. The Validation Manager is a visible leader — influencing both customer relationships and internal operational performance.
What will you do?
- Lead the execution of validation and qualification projects (IQ/OQ/PQ), ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Develop, review, and approve validation protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
- Scope and schedule validation work, assign field personnel, and monitor project progress.
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact for validation services — ensuring strong communication, expectation-setting, and relationship stewardship.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to validation field service engineers and technicians.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Training to achieve consistent service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, records, and project files.
- Identify service expansion opportunities and support organic growth of validation services.
- Ensure team adherence to TSS safety standards, operational procedures, and quality system requirements.
How will you get here?
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in validation, qualification, or calibration services within life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or regulated lab environments.
- Prior experience managing field teams, projects, or technical programs strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, ISO standards, and validation methodologies (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Ability to lead technical personnel with clarity, consistency, and accountability.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills — able to simplify complexity and build trust.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance technical rigor with practical field execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and validation documentation tools.
