Role Description seeking rdh for 1 day/week for potential for more. Job duties: perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, while adhering to current clinical standards and infection control protocols. Day-to-day tasks include assessing periodontal health, documenting findings, supporting dentists in treatment planning, and providing patient education on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive care. The Dental Hygienist will review medical histories, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and a high standard of care. This position requires consistent, professional interaction with patients and colleagues in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to support diagnostic and preventive treatment plans.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including scaling, polishing, and preventive therapies.
  • \n

  • Ability to assess, monitor, and manage Periodontal Disease as part of comprehensive patient care.
  • \n

  • Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Massachusetts and current CPR certification.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and best practices in a dental setting.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with electronic dental records and familiarity with common dental software systems.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient education and a positive patient experience.
