What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators
- Comfort assisting students with varying needs, including academics, behaviors, and routines
- Strong communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse classroom environments and grade levels
- Must be able to commit to a 30+ hour workweek
Role Responsibilities:
- Support lead teachers in both classroom and individual settings
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction or assistance
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Help students with assignments and classroom activities
- Supervise students during transitions, lunchtime, and recess as needed
- Assist with implementing behavior and learning plans
- Collaborate in the preparation of instructional materials
