We are actively seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant for an estate planning firm in Acton, MA. This role focuses on drafting customized estate planning documents and supporting clients through the planning and trust funding process.
Responsibilities
- Draft customized estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
- Attend client meetings and signing appointments; serve as witness at document signings.
- Coordinate and assist with trust funding.
- Schedule and conduct final review meetings with clients, walking them through completed estate planning documents.
- Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and ensure a smooth planning experience.
- Maintain accurate client records.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and team members to ensure timely completion of files.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of estate planning experience required. Those with over 2 years of experience will be prioritized.
- Previous paralegal or legal assistance experience required.
