Our client is a fast-paced, results-driven law firm with a national reach, specializing in commercial collections, creditor rights, and complex litigation. The litigation group plays a critical role in protecting clients' interests, and they are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to take a leading role within the team. This position is designed to replace the firm's outgoing Head of Litigation and offers significant responsibility and visibility.
Key Responsibilities

Lead litigation strategy and case management for a high-volume docket of commercial collection and creditor-rights matters

Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and appellate filings

Conduct depositions, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and trials

Provide clients with strategic advice and regular updates on case progress

Negotiate with opposing counsel and parties to secure favorable resolutions

Ensure compliance with firm, client, and court requirements across all litigation matters

Collaborate with firm leadership to refine litigation processes and advance client outcomes
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (additional state admissions a plus)

Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with significant courtroom exposure

Background in commercial collections, creditor rights, or complex business litigation strongly preferred

Proven ability to supervise, delegate, and mentor junior attorneys and staff

Excellent written/oral advocacy, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
