This full-time contract position supports K-12 students across four buildings, providing services for the entirety of the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Windsor, VT, this district-wide role offers the chance to make a real difference for students with diverse needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont OT Certificate is required
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in school settings
- Understanding of OT best practices for K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable supporting students across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Provide consultation and training for staff regarding sensory and motor needs
- Travel between four district buildings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with educational and legal requirements
